WI instead of keeping certain books Out of the Bible-like GOSPEL OF MARY(Magdalene) they are put in the Bible and other books llike ACTS of THE APOSTLES, Epistle to TIMOTHY,etc are not included. What happens then?
Given the aptitude of the church to interpret anything in scripture to suit their world view it might not change much.
OTOH - no acts might well mean no theological foundation for a lot of the churches' most defining organisational traditions. No ecumenical councils, for one thing.
And if anyone actually bothers to read the Bible with an open mind (scarily few theologians seem to have done so) there may be something in it for the other half of humanity.
