THE TRIAL OF HENRY KISSINGER- Christopher Hitchens

This relatively short book is all about the political and legal issues associated with trying Henry Kissinger for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the late 60s and early 70s as US Secretary of State under Pres Nixon, in such contexts as the conduct of the VW- esp the 1970 incursion into and mass B52 bombings of Cambodia and the rise of the Khmer Rouge, supporting Pakistani atrocities in Bangladesh 1970-71, and using the CIA to orchestrate the military coup against Pres Allende in Chile in 1973.
