Instead of life without parole or execution, what if we stranded our worst criminals on, say, the Palmer Peninsula of Antartica and airdropped supplies? Could they survive?
Nope, and it would probably be more expensive and dangerous to drop supplies on a regular basis than to keep these people in prisons or (as an American) execute them. Now, if we went whole-hog with global warming for the next 100 years....
