What sort of POD would lead to a situation similar to the race riots in OTL's 1960s? How would such events affect the present?

I forget the source of the quote, but it has been said that 'Any war between the sexes would grind to a halt due to excessive fraternization wtih the enemy'....

Massive influx of ASBs. You might have violent incidents (assasinations or some bombings by radical elements of suffragets, maybe (not likelly) some demonstrations turn violent) but nothing beyond that.

The closest you could ever come to a Gender War is if a small--extremely small-- feminist fringe group decides violence is called for. Maybe a radical splinter group of MacDworkinism decides planting bombs and sniping is a way to end pornogrpahy. Don't look for this group to ever number more than 100.
Still imagine 99 female Unabombers.
