Quick query: Bulgaria

In my TL, the ruling house of a reconstituted Bulgarian Tsardom is descended from an Armeno-Byzantine general named John of Priene, who takes the Bulgarian throne as Ivan. I just thought I'd ask on the off-chance anyone knew: what name would his dynasty take? So far, as a placeholder I'm calling them "Prienensis", but I'd like something more accurate if at all possible!

Thanks in advance.

I would say "Pireni" or "Pirenan" dynasty if this is the main denominator of the dynasty, or "Ivani" or "Ivanid" if the surname is more important.

"ov" and "ski" tend to be the most common Bulgarian suffixes, so probably Prienov.

EDIT: Although pre-1900 Bulgarian names are often written with "off" instead of "ov" i.e. Prienoff.
