hey, all. you may or may not know that in my ASB ATL, the United States includes most of Canada as well as it's OTL territory and some more besides. for the most part i've been considering just OTL American figures (and Winston Churchill) as candidates for TTL's various Presidents of the United States. however, it just occurred to me that i should consider OTL Canadians as well, since they're as much a part of the US ITTL as the Midwest or the South or California are.
okay, so, disregarding butterflies that would result in anyone born a generation later from not existing and with a POD of the American Revolution to include former colonies in what is now Canada, who are some historical and still-living Canadian politicians that could feasibly become important in the the United States government ITTL, including as VPs, Supreme Court Justices, governors of other states for whatever reason (after all, George W. Bush was Governor of Texas despite being from Connecticut, for example), and of course Presidents of the United States, and what their respective eras and political affiliations would be?
anything goes as long as they're Canadian politicians--i'll sort out all the possibilities myself later on
