Jackson wins in 1824, consequence for tariffs?

The passage of the "Tariff of Abominations" was largely a consequence John Calhoun's failed political scheming. Calhoun added clauses to the bill that he thought unacceptable to both the Southern and Northern representatives in the hopes of sinking the proposal.

This obviously backfired when New England representatives put national interests above sectional ones and voted for the bill which President Adams then signed. If Jackson was voted in four years earlier, would the bill still pass the House? And if so would Jackson veto it? What do you think the consequences would be when he vetoes or not?
