Arthurian myth and the reign of Arthur Tudor

Just a quick question, what would the cultural role of the King Arthur myth have been had Arthur Tudor lived to succeed his father? And how might the development of the myth afterwards be shaped by Arthur's reign?

I don't think it would have been that bostled. It was a convenient tale, as Troyan origin of France, in the late feudal period that served as cultural and moral edification of a strong monarchic power based on personal charisma.

Nothing that much different, if maybe a bit more present anecdotically.

Guys. One thing to ask for the sake of Appolinis et Dianae TL. The heir apparent to the British throne at the moment (by 1690) is named Arthur-George. So... how serious was the "Return of King Arthur is a sign of end times" belief? In short - he's likely to reign as Arthur I (or Arthur II, to honor legendary King Arthur), but would there be any... unfortunate associations with the "name not for tranquil reigns"?
